Elmendorf F22 Hangars, Anchorage, AK:


54,000 and 46,000 sq ft 8 and 7 bay aircraft hangars.  Each facility includes medium voltage service feeding 4000 Amp, 480Y/277 Volt service.  Each building is designed for the addition of a future generator to supply power for mission critical equipment.   Design provided 400Hz power system and DC ground power units for each bay. Building was designed per LEED, includes fire alarm and specialty aircraft power.
